The Heathers is a 2 star (Good) rated
home by the CQC. A copy of our most recent inspection

have also recently achieved Investor in People Status.
The family run nursing home is under the personal supervision
and care of the Managing Director/Registered Provider, Hitan
Patel. His daily personal involvement, together with that of
the Matron/Manager of the home, ensures that the highest standards
of Nursing Care are always met.
Every shift is supervised by an experienced Registered
Nurse (RGN) and the majority of our Care Staff have
achieved NVQ’s at Levels 2 & 3 in Care. In addition,
we have our own chefs – with long experience in the preparation
of meals for care homes – and experienced domestics and
launderers who ensure the Home’s high standards of cleanliness.
The Matron/Manager keeps in regular contact with relatives
and is always available to discuss any problems/concerns that
may arise.
The home operates a “Key Worker”
System. This means that all residents are allocated with a member
of staff who will assist them in buying small items that they
may require such as toiletries etc.
